Kathryn Leonard
lives in Annapolis, Md. She grew up on the Severn River. For the
last ten years she has kept a studio on the South River. Water and
light have been a powerful influence on her throughout her life.
She began her education at Severn
School and continued on to receive a B.A. in French
and Studio Arts from Randolph-Macon College in
Ashland, Va. During her undergraduate studies she
was accepted to study under Bernard Phriem at the
Lacoste School of Arts in Lacoste, France, a program
accredited through the Cleveland Institute of the
Arts. Since receiving her degree she has done
post-graduate studies at the Anderson Ranch Center
in Snowmass, Co, Mosman College in Sydney,
Australia, and at St. John's College in Annapolis,
Md.
